The Sonics Immersive Media Lab is housed with the newly refurbished, dedicated exhibition space St James Hatcham Building. As part of the Goldsmiths Graduate School Festival, PhD students and researchers from across departments present this public sound art exhibition and events programme.
‘Sound / Place’ revisits the notion of “place” as a creative canvas as well as a platform for collaborative critical debate and exchange. The show aims to question the problematics of displaying sonic art in group exhibition environments.
